The city recently changed contractors for trash pickup from Waste Management to GFL. Please contact Wixom DPW at (248) 624-0141 to voice any complaints you might have.
Adding/modifying decks, outdoor paint schemes, pools, gardens, etc. need association approval prior to proceeding. Please contact your board of directors via the association email and include a drawing and description of your planned project.
Campers, Boats, Etc.
A City of Wixom ordinance does not allow boats, trailers, RV's, etc. to be parked at city residences for more than 48 hours. Please contact the city for enforcement.
Leaf Collection
The city picks up leaves raked to the curb during the months of October and November. They will publish a collection schedule.
Waste Management also discontinues lawn waste pickup, usually by December. The city will post a notice on this also.
Trash Day
Trash day is every Wednesday except for weeks where a holiday falls on Monday-Wednesday. When that occurs trash pickup is pushed back one day. Per the bylaws trash is allowed to be placed at the curb not earlier than 5:00 P.M. on the day prior to pickup.
Snow
Our winter season is coming. It is each homeowners responsibility to keep the sidewalk in front of their home cleared of snow.
